- Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical advisor during device verification and validation processes
- Provide specialized knowledge on C-17 Flight Control Systems
- Ensure design and modifications align with the operational fidelity of the C-17 aircraft
- Apply instructional experience to enhance training effectiveness
- Support the development of accurate training materials
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering team
- Address design changes necessary for achieving full entry into service criteria for maintenance systems trainers
- Assist in complying with verification and validation requirements, focusing on design and conformity certifications
- Ensure design consistency with USAF Aircraft Flight Control System Trainer standards
- Act as a liaison between the team and Boeing Defence United Kingdom
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight years experience in maintenance training systems or maintenance simulation devices
- Direct experience with C-17 Globemaster III aircraft maintenance
- Previous role as a C-17 Maintenance Training System Instructor
- Experience as a USAF C-17 Flying Crew Chief highly desirable
- Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of C-17 Flight Control Systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills

- Leadership and project management skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified instructor
- Hands-on experience in mechanical trades related to aircraft maintenance
