- The job is a contract to permanent position at a major Healthcare Insurance organization, located in Reston, VA with primarily remote work.
- Expected to be available for in-person meetings and collaboration efforts 1-2 times per month.
- Responsibilities include complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.
- Duties involve operating system architecture integration, software design, selection of computer systems, language, and/or equipment.
- Required to design, develop, test, and document critical and complex application programs for computer systems.
- Will work with stakeholders to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines.
- Required to establish project standards and processes.
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of relevant work experience.
- Requires 5 years of experience as a Pega RPA SW Developer, including basic coding and compilation, software architecture/design, user requirements definition, and software specification development.
- Requires proficiency in .NET/C#, Pega RPA development, managing Pega servers, and upgrading them.
- Must have understanding of Pega workflow and proficiency in creating new BOTs in a short time.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
- Preferred skills include Pega Certification, ability to communicate technical requirements to all levels, knowledge of SDLC, programming languages, cloud and database technologies.
- Strong experience with software engineering best practices, agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, test-first practices, and code quality and promotion practices.
