LaRiviere is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman with irrigation installation experience to lead our field crews in our landscape department. This is a working foreman role which will lead and supervise crews in installing and maintaining landscapes, ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards, while prioritizing safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of landscape construction workers.
- Assign tasks, provide training, and monitor performance.
- Ensure all crew members adhere to safety protocols and company standards.
Quality Control:
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout all projects.
- Inspect work regularly to identify and address any issues.
- Ensure projects meet client expectations and company standards.
Safety:
- Prioritize safety on all job sites.
- Ensure all crew members are properly trained and equipped for safety.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
Technical Skills:
- Possess a strong understanding of landscape construction techniques and best practices.
- Be proficient in operating and maintaining various tools and equipment.
- Have knowledge of plant materials, irrigation systems, and other landscape elements.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and crew members.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of project progress and expenses.
Other duties:
- Order and manage materials and supplies.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in commercial landscape construction, with a strong background in leading crews and managing projects.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of landscape construction techniques, plant materials, and safety protocols.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training or certifications in landscape construction or a related field preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
