Are you an experienced, hands-on roofing professional who excels at leading and motivating a team? Our growing roofing company is seeking a talented Roofing Crew Leader to oversee all on-site activities and ensure the successful installation of high-quality standing seam metal and other traditional roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct a crew of roofing technicians to efficiently and safely complete roofing projects
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of standing seam metal roofing installation techniques
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to crew members based on their skill levels to optimize productivity
- Motivate the team to perform at a high level and maintain a positive, dynamic work environment
- Ensure all safety practices and protocols are implemented systematically
- Provide regular verbal and digital progress reports to the project manager
- Maintain tools and equipment, and leave job sites clean at the end of each day
- Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise among the crew
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial roofing, with a focus on standing seam metal roofing
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding quality and meet project timelines
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a field-based environment
