What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher for Towing Company position at Larry Campbell's Towing & Recovery, INC.?
We are now hiring a dispatcher for towing company that operates in the University and Hickory Grove areas of Charlotte, NC. Job duties include taking calls from CMPD and Highway Patrol as well as others and dispatch driver to accident scene or place of tow asap. Enter information in to the computer and release vehicle to proper owner. Must be available to work any shift if needed as we are 24 hours. Training will be mostly on day shift and extensive with some training on night shift and approx 40 hours per week then this regular shift is for Thursday - Sunday, 6pm-6am. 48 hour night position after training. Anything over 40 hours is overtime. As stated, training is on day shift Mon-Fri and some night shift. Know how to use mapquest and give directions and use of computer including email and mapquest. Experience with towbooks is a plus. Knowledge of the Charlotte area is a must. Must have clean background check and ability to pass a drug screen.. Experienced in the TOWING FIELD IS A MUST.
