REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING
Minimum Education
Completion of accredited program in radiology technology Required
Certifications
Certified by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible to take certification examination; Advanced certification in mammography desired
Minimum Work Experience
Three or more (3 ) years’ experience

OVERVIEW OF POSITIION DUTIES
- Performs all job duties of the mammography department to include obtaining patient history and performing mammograms at a technical level, checking in outside films, inputting MEEs, mailing result letters to patients, calling patients that need additional views, following up on biopsy results, quality control tests on equipment, scheduling appointments, and troubleshooting equipment errors.
- Perform exams majority of time; make out the employee work schedules; Coordinate service calls when machines are down; Help with solving issues in area; Order supplies; Oversee ACR accreditation and MQSA inspections
