Remote- Corporate Paralegal
A physician-owned multispecialty medical group in the Delaware Valley region (covering New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware) is seeking a Corporate Paralegal. This role involves providing legal support to Care Centers and physician Members, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Responsibilities will vary from basic to highly complex tasks. Additionally, the position will support Risk Management initiatives, reporting to the Vice President of Risk Management.
Responsibilities:
- Draft various agreements (employment, lease, vendor, etc.).
- Background with relevant Healthcare Regulations (HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti- kickback, etc.)
- Review and analyze legal documents and service contracts.
- Handle requests for contracts, insurance, and legal correspondence.
- Help assess risk related to healthcare regulations and corporate compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6) years of paralegal experience specifically related to healthcare
- Strong grasp of HIPAA, HITECH and other privacy laws.
- Bachelor's degree requires (Certificate in Paralegal Studies preferred.)
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
