JOB SUMMARY: Lead training initiatives for new and existing associates, work closely with Coaches, Department Leads and Supervisors. Identify and resolve training process issues, guide continuous process improvement projects for on-the-job training, improve job knowledge and skills, and promote production efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Demonstrate safe behaviors through work tasks and processes, serving as a positive role model through modeling desirable behaviors (Key leader in promoting safety first)
2. Train and develop coaches through formal and informal methods
3. Coordinate and facilitate on-the-job training
4. Facilitate the coaching program to include:
a. Conducting quarterly training sessions with coaches
b. Seek to understand and work through training issues with coaches
c. Acquire and track data from associates and coaches (Use data to update the program and keep it fresh)
d. Continuously inform Supervisors on the progress of their associates
5. Maintain certification for all respective job tasks
6. Partner with Supervisor to develop / manage associate training plans
7. Drive accountability for job rotation and plans
8. Weekly training / certification progress reports
9. Validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
10. Collaborate with EHS to support plant-wide training initiatives (orientation, coach program, safety programs)
11. Flexible schedule to meet the demands on all shifts
12. Conduct plant tours
13. Other duties as assigned
