Minimum Qualifications02/28/2025
1. Must possess a NM PED Level II Teacher with Master’s Degree or National Board Certification or Level III license.
2. Must have 5 years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
3. Experience delivering professional development/mentoring to peers in high yield strategies to support student achievement within the specified content area(s).
4. Sophisticated understanding with the state adopted content area standards to include backwards design, lesson planning, assessment, and pacing.
5. Evidence of strong oral and written language skills.
6. Proven experience working with ELL/SPED/low socio- economic populations (preferred).
7. Evidence of technology integration skills to assist in creating engaging and differentiated learning experiences.
8. Evidence of school or district leadership in the specified content area(s), along with success in teaching all subjects, preferably in an integrated fashion.
9. Strong evidence of ability to work effectively with other educators.
10. Strong evidence of ability to lead/facilitate teacher and student groups that result in positive student outcomes
11. Outstanding verbal, written communication and organizational skills
