Restaurant Expo and Food Runner- Spanish

Job Summary
We are seeking a spanish-speaking, dedicated, and energetic Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for the culinary arts, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are correctly fulfilled and presented to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise.
• Help with food handling duties, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
• Utilize Toast POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen staff.
• Provide excellent guest services by responding to inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including food handling practices, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both guests and team members.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is advantageous but can be learned on the job.
• A passion for providing outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
