The Software Developer will primarily be responsible for the development and maintenance of customized software utilized to support the Football Operations Departments including Coaching, Pro Personnel, College Scouting, Video Operations, Athletic Training, and Strength and Conditioning.

The Software Developer will primarily be responsible for the development and maintenance of customized software utilized to support the Football Operations Departments including Coaching, Pro Personnel, College Scouting, Video Operations, Athletic Training, and Strength and Conditioning.
Essential Job Functions
40% - Work through the full application development lifecycle – given system requirements, develop end-to-end solutions including development, testing, deployment, and support; following guidelines set forth by the Director, Football Systems and the SVP, Football Operations & Strategy.
20% - Optimize and improve existing systems through ongoing enhancement projects.
20% - Support the continuous development of data warehouses, managing the ingestion and cleansing of data utilized by internal software, research, and reporting systems.
10% - Generate custom reports utilizing HTML, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
10% - Serve as first-level user support for internal applications
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a strong technical background required.
- 3-5 years of professional experience developing on technology platforms based on the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, Entity Framework, and WebAPI required.
- Experience working in professional sports highly preferred.
- Experience using SQL Server to create database tables, views, stored procedures, and functions to support application functionality and custom reports required.
- 3-5 years of experience in web design and development using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS/LESS/SASS required.
- Experience managing and optimizing cloud-based SQL databases on Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting aggressive deadlines.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment with a small team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn and implement new technologies.
- Able to own individual projects as well as work on a team.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly communicate technical subject matter to non-technical personnel.
- Must be able to implement full-stack solutions.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and solutions oriented.
- Strong knowledge of football is a plus.
- The ability to work extended hours and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
- Sitting for long periods of time throughout the shift.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
