The primary responsibility of the Executive Assistant – Corporate IT is to perform diversified tasks within the department including answering the telephone, typing letters, contracts, memos, preparing reports and keeping accurate records for the department.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage SVP appointment calendars.
- Coordinate expense reports.
- Answer SVP phones/screen phone calls.
- Schedules meetings/appointments, answers phones, screen calls, handle shipping and receiving, mail, photocopies.
- Organize and maintain agency and partner contracts.
- Handle all billing, invoicing, new vendor paperwork and payments as needed.
- Routing of any legal documents and contracts as needed.
- Maintain internal calendar of events.
- Create internal work orders and purchase requisitions.
- Order office supplies as needed.
- Schedule, track and communication of company deadlines (SMART goals, budget, training)
- Perform job duties in a safe manner.
- Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 3 - 5 years of administrative experience required.
- Previous experience in Hospitality/Gaming industry preferred.
- Must be able to accurately type 65 wpm, able to read, interpret, write and evaluate reports and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must have proficient computer skills using Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; have excellent communication and phone skills.
- Ability to plan international travel with time zone difference; preparation of expense reports with various currencies.
- Organize and maintain document filing including electronic and hard copies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to:
- Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
- Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
- Utilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the job.
