Successful candidates will be assigned to two elementary school sites within Las Virgenes Unified School District (LVUSD) Spanish fluency is preferred for placement at one of the nine school sites

It is important that these teachers are able to demonstrate critical thinking and an ability to problem-solve. As part of the interview, you may be asked to respond to a topic in writing and present it orally in a way that shows your creativity. Digital literacy will be emphasized; you may be given an opportunity to access information and expected to evaluate information critically and competently. We are looking for teachers with strong abilities to integrate technology and the arts into their daily lesson planning. They should have experience and expertise working with English Learners, and Special Education, and gifted students, and using differentiation to individualize for each student. The ability to use data to inform instructional practices is essential. Knowledge of the California State Standards and universal access strategies required. Applicants with the ability to accompany student singers on a chordal instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, autoharp) would also be prefered.
