What are the responsibilities and job description for the Molding Quality Assurance Inspector position at LaSalle Bristol?
Main Functions: Visually inspect, test, audit and measure products and record documentation to assure products meet quality standards.
Job Duties:
· Inspect product visually and using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges. Impact test & measure. Record documentation as required.
· Verify work instruction and awareness sheets have been followed to assure products meet quality standards/internal & external (customer) requirements.
· Complete and assist in other tasks/projects as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
· Occasional use throughout the day of various testing/handling of parts using measurement tools and equipment, which all require motion w/hands, fingers, arm, elbow & shoulder motions (push/pull, bend, grasp, reach).
· Lifting of 10 – 40 lbs. throughout the day – need to remove boxes from skids of product to inspect parts.
· Standing and walking throughout the shift, with occasional desk work while recording documentation.
Schedule: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday – twelve (12) hours per day (three 20-minute break/lunch periods per day), four (4) days per week for a total of 48 hours per week. Friday’s if additional overtime is required.
Job Type: Full-time
