Benefits Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead the Benefits Team in administering comprehensive health and welfare programs
- Work closely with third-party vendors, internal stakeholders, and leadership to drive process improvements

- Gain experience managing high-level benefits processes, including open enrollment, compliance, and employee advocacy
- Lead the daily administration of benefits programs, policies, and compliance procedures
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants to optimize benefits offerings
- Oversee benefits communications, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values
- Develop, track, and improve workflows and processes within the Benefits team
- Guide and validate the work of Benefits Analysts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead annual Open Enrollment planning and execution
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance and support on benefits-related matters
- Assist with hiring, training, and performance reviews for benefits staff
Benefits Lead Requirements:
- 7 years of progressive benefits management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and drive positive outcomes.
- Ability to assess challenges, implement solutions, and balance long-term strategy with immediate needs.
- A sense of urgency and initiative in delivering top-tier employee service.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification is a plus!
- Ability to work Hybrid - Chicago, IL
