Contract Recruiter

Our client, a rapidly growing logistics company in the western suburbs of Chicago, is looking for a Contract Recruiter to lead the full recruitment life cycle and develop a strategic hiring plan. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you’ll play a key role in fueling the company’s growth by attracting top talent and enhancing recruitment processes.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in high-volume, national based recruiting especially for roles in logistics, manufacturing or supply chain. Contract Recruiter Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle recruiting process for high volume positions, build and maintain a talent pipeline
• Create and implement recruiting processes and procedures including, but not limited to sourcing strategies, applicant tracking systems, identifying and evaluating top talent
• Manage all vendor relationships such as staffing agencies and educational institutions, as well as manage the recruiting department budget
• Create reports and analyze data regarding recruiting and hiring trends, retention rates, and other human capital statistics
• Work closely with hiring managers across the organization
  
  

Contract Recruiter Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4 years of recruiting experience; high volume manufacturing/warehouse/logistics required
• Must have experience recruiting for multiple sites ideally on a national scale
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies and applicant tracking system processes
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
