What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Litigation Paralegal position at LaSalle Network?
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join our clients growing legal team. Our client is a major manufacturer, centrally located downtown Chicago.
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will support attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including case preparation, research, document management, trial support, and client communication.
Corporate Litigation Paralegal Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Conduct legal research and assist in case analysis
- Manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trials
- Prepare discovery responses and assist in discovery document production
- Maintain communication with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel
- Draft and file documents with the court, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and deadlines
- Prepare trial exhibits and assist with trial preparation
- Perform other tasks as required to support the legal team
