- Position is hybrid, with two days working from home per week.
- Prepare cost reports, including cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory analysis
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain cost discrepancies
- Monitor and analyze cost structures, recommending process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure accurate recording of inventory and production costs through regular reviews
- Work with supply chain, production, and operations teams to maintain accurate costing data
- Support audits and physical inventory reviews
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations
- 3 years in cost accounting or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication. Experience in manufacturing or production is a plus
- Provide financial analysis for special projects
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives
