Director, Technology Services

LaSalle Network is partnering with a top client looking to hire a Director, Technology Services. This individual will oversee the Information Security, Infrastructure and Service Desk teams, ensuring their alignment with company and IT strategic goals. This role is critical in enhancing the maturity of these functions through industry-standard frameworks, reducing risks and improving user experience while managing cost-effective operations. Reporting to the CIO, the Director, Technology Services will work closely with internal business partners, external vendors and IT peers to implement secure, scalable and efficient technology solutions.

Director, Technology Services Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT leadership to align annual and strategic goals across the organization
• Develop, execute and oversee the company's infrastructure strategy and operations
• Design and implement a robust information security program to safeguard the company's assets and data
• Guide the service desk team to enhance SLA compliance and improve the end-user experience
• Define and evolve rolling IT roadmaps aligned with capital and expense budgets to achieve desired maturity levels
• Partner with IT to implement modern architecture practices that support the organization's mission and objectives
• Lead capital and expense budget planning, performance tracking and forecasting while ensuring ROI delivery
• Cultivate and manage strategic vendor relationships to leverage new technologies and capabilities
• Ensure the availability of resources and forecast skill needs based on emerging technologies
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and standards across the infrastructure organization

Director, Technology Services Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10 years of IT services experience, specifically in Security and Infrastructure, with 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong background in information security, disaster/cyber incident recovery and infrastructure technologies (networking, compute, storage, enterprise/cloud security and end-user technologies)
• Familiarity with security and IT frameworks such as NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, ITIL and CMMI
• Proven ability to collaborate with business partners and end-users to align technical directions with business goals
• Track record of successfully implementing multi-year strategies and programs with demonstrated budget and financial management expertise
• Strong communication, negotiation and storytelling skills, with excellent written and verbal presentation abilities
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and project management skills to navigate ambiguity and deliver results
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field preferred
• Certifications in infrastructure or security (e.g., CISSP, Cisco CCXX) a plus
• Experience with cloud operations or establishing cloud-based environments preferred
