Job Description:
The Senior Health and Safety Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the wellbeing of employees at our East Wisconsin Rapids food manufacturing plant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures for food manufacturing operations
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across manufacturing facilities
- Lead and participate in incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action plans are developed and implemented
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures for the facility
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Health & Safety Certification(s), and/or equivalent combination of qualifications and health & safety experience
- Professional certification, such as CSP, ASP, or accredited Health and Safety Certification, is required or in process
- 5 years of Health & Safety experience
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
