IT Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of critical IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure project timelines are met, and deliver high-quality solutions that align with organizational goals. You will be responsible for driving initiatives such as network upgrades, cloud migrations, data center projects, and infrastructure modernization.

Infrastructure Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets
• Oversee the execution of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Proactively address project challenges to minimize disruptions
• Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, vendors, and third-party consultants
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members
• Provide technical guidance for infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, server upgrades, and network installations
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and security protocols
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards

Infrastructure Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects
• Proven track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certificates
• ITIL certification
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud technologies
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana)
