The Metals Procurement Manager will be responsible for providing support to the leadership team on creating strategic plans on forecasting the sourcing needs of the company. Metals Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
- Creating a procurement strategy with leadership
- Negotiating contracts, identifying new suppliers and managing the vendor portfolio
- Managing a team of buyers to order supply for production
- Multiple years of experience in sourcing, procuring, negotiating contracts and managing vendors in the steel and construction industry
- 2 years of management experience, to manage an experienced team
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to lead a team on multiple projects
