We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage and enhance all aspects of the hiring process, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional service. This position is primarily remote with equipment pickup and 1-2 days of training onsite downtown. Onsite is required every other Wednesday at your nearest site location.

Onboarding Specialist Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the onboarding process for assigned business units
- Serve as an onboarding subject matter expert, handling escalations and troubleshooting system issues
- Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to streamline onboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for new hires
- Audit and process hire data across multiple HR systems
- Assist candidates with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and onboarding system issues
- Conduct and review background checks, fingerprinting, and physical clearances
- Verify licensures, certifications, and education credentials
- Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires
- Identify process improvements and maintain up-to-date onboarding documentation
- HR experience with strong knowledge of onboarding processes
- Ability to manage multiple hires in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve onboarding inquiries
- Excellent written & verbal communication with a customer-focused approach
- Experience navigating HR systems and ATS platforms
- High integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Works effectively independently and within a team
