What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing & Vendor Management Coordinator position at LaSalle Network?
LaSalle Network is looking to hire a Purchasing & Vendor Management Coordinator to help spearhead the seamless utilization of the source-to-pay (S2P) purchasing system for Indirect goods and services for one of our top clients in the CPG distribution space.
In this role, you will sit as on the Indirect Center of Excellence (CoE) team and help provide solutions that support a digitalized source-to-pay flow throughout the entire purchasing process in order to make things simpler for the end-user. This is a long-term contract position that sits in Carlisle, PA, with the potential to convert for the right person on a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days onsite.
Purchasing & Vendor Management Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Supporting both the Indirect CoE team members and business users with high-level report creation, utilizing the Coupa S2P system to ensure efficient digital operations
- Interacting with sourcing partners to gather reports for various sourcing events, and other business reporting and backup support as needed
- Assisting with the Buyer Action process, item setup, item maintenance, invoice tolerance holds, contract research, and customer support with the end users
Purchasing & Vendor Management Coordinator Requirements:
- 1 year of relevant working experience
- Coupa experience highly preferred (or experience in a similar system)
- A degree in supply chain or operations is highly preferred
- Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, etc.)
- Experience using PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Strong oral and written communication skills
