What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Laser Photonics Corporation?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage SEC filing requirements including 10-K, 10-Q, etc.
- Assist CFO for financial planning and forecasting
- Analyze and convert data sources on a daily and monthly basis for internal/external reporting, accounting journal entries, and tax related items
- Prepare detailed monthly actual to budget variance reports to support practice management
- Participate in development and detailed review of operation budgets and performance benchmarks
- Assists in completing audits and preparing periodic internal and external reports
- Manage financial information and matrix published for investors
- Assist CFO for setting up SOX controls and internal process and procedures
- Assist in technical accounting research
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field as required
- 2 years of progressive accounting experience; preferably in of public accounting experience
- Working knowledge of SEC filing requirements and all financial statements
- Highly skilled in use of MS Office including Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint and other accounting software
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, customer service and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, flexible, innovative, and attentive to detail
- This position is required to be physically in the office 100% during the business hour. The normal work hour is 9 am to 6pm
