Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN or Paramedic- to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing IV treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support patients in managing their chronic conditions.
Duties
- Administer EBOO and vitamin treatments to patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to any complications that may arise.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status before, during, and after EBOO sessions.
- Perform specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Utilize aseptic technique in all procedures to prevent infection and maintain patient safety.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Assist in the management of medical equipment related to IV treatment, including troubleshooting as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. (Recommended)
- Experience in inpatient settings, particularly in critical care (ICU) preferred.
- Proficiency in administering injections and performing gastric lavage as needed.
- Familiarity with MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments and durable medical equipment (DME) management is a plus.
- Strong skills in catheterization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
