Eyelash Extension Technician

Lash District, an upscale eyelash salon in West Orange, NJ, is seeking experienced Lash Stylists to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and apply semi-permanent eyelash extensions with precision. • Performs day to day application of our services, ensuring guest satisfaction and expectations are consistently met or exceed our standards which includes and not limited to sterility procedures, clean and well-maintained procedure area.
• Consult and educate clients on the products/services being offered which includes and limited to aftercare instructions.
• Thoroughly conducts expected client consultation prior to service application and inserts proper notes in client charts for future tracking.
• Responsible for proper sanitation of implements according to our protocol and licensing.
• Handle all client concerns/questions before and after procedure.
• Perform semi-permanent eyelash extensions.
• Other duties as prescribed

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum two-year Lash Experience Required
• Active Cosmetology or Esthetician State License Required
• Strong interpersonal, written, listening and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and is customer focused.
• Initiates self-learning and is comfortable at educating clients on products and services offered.
• Must have excellent conflict resolution and mediation skills.
• Must be a proactive, independent thinker and decision maker with the ability to embrace changing environments.
• Exhibits sound judgment and adheres strictly to our standards of salon operations.
• Forms strong working relationships within team and fosters a teamwork environment.
• Takes a leadership role by helping others with training, offers assistance, and helps solve client issues related to a faulty service. Willing to check and “fix” work performed by other stylists.
• Ongoing learner; exhibits insatiable curiosity and an interest in self-development.
• Keeps salon owner and lead aware of any issues and suggests productive solutions to resolve them in an effective and timely manner.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
