Lashes Downtown was established in 2016 in the historic heart of Downtown Puyallup. The meaningful relationships built in our community are valued and are the CORE here at Lashes Downtown. Our ultimate goal is to elevate our client’s natural beauty, while empowering and uplifting them to be the best version of themselves. We strive to empower the confidence of all those who enter our salon!
We are looking for a talented, dynamic, friendly, outgoing, career-orientated, proficient and highly skilled eyelash extension artist with two years of experience to join our Lashes Downtown team. Applicant must have a complete knowledge of the eyelash extension industry. This individual must be passionate about his/her work, always strive for perfection, and have a strong desire to constantly learn and improve their technique. Must provide photos of work to be considered.
If you are fresh out of esthetics or cosmetology school that's okay too! We are looking for individuals who are detailed and have amazing technique! We are happy to further the experience and training of someone just starting out. Please apply if this is you!
Lash Artist service knowledge & skills in:
o Classic lashes
o Hybrid lashes
o Volume lashes
o Lash lift & tints
o Brow wax
o Face wax
o Brow laminations
o Brow tints
Lash Artist Responsibilities
o Consult with clients to determine the best length, style and fullness of eyelash extensions that will suit their desired look and face shape.
o Prepare the work area by sterilizing and sanitizing tools and equipment and setting out the necessary supplies.
o Educate clients on how to care for their eyelash extensions.
o Maintain a clean and organized work area.
o Proper and accurate isolation when applying eyelash extensions.
o Prioritize, empower and uplift clients.
o Embrace and support the Lashes Downtown team.
o Exceptional customer service skills.
o Be available for any team meetings that are regularly scheduled on a monthly basis.
o Maintain constant communication with co-workers.
o Update customer account with notes of services performed.
Lash Artist Job Requirements
o A high school diploma or equivalent.
o Completion of a cosmetology or esthetician program & a valid cosmetology or esthetician license, as required by state law.
o Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
o Strong communication and customer service skills.
o Good time management skills and the ability to multitask.
o The ability to use software programs for scheduling and client management
o The ability to follow instructions and learn new techniques.
o Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
