What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Barista position at NORTH SLOPE COFFEE HOUSE?
North Slope Coffee is looking for an experienced barista to join our team. We are located at 618 N. 1 St. in the Stadium District of Tacoma, at the entrance of Stadium Thriftway. We are looking for someone with solid barista experience with availability to fill in any shift both weekends and weekdays, but specifically closing shifts (1-7:30ish) and possibly some opening shifts (5:45-7:30). Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, hard-working, teachable, honorable and available. A minimum of one year barista experience is preferable. The pay is minimum wage plus all tips.
This position is available soon, but training will start immediately.

Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Interact with customers regularly and professionally
- Adhere to the standards set by our stand and not from previous work places.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a barista
- Provide References from most recent barista position
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to run a POS (Clover) and accurately count money

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.66 - $25.00/hour.
