In this role, you’ll help shape the way we connect with wine lovers across our brands—building engaging emails, SMS, and push notifications that drive excitement (and conversions).

You’ll work with a dynamic team to optimize campaigns, implement cutting-edge tools, and ensure our messaging hits home with the right audience every time.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, high spirits, self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be ready to hit the ground running and integrate into our operations during training. While an interest in wine and eagerness to broaden your expertise are advantageous, they are not mandatory. This role is based in our American Canyon office, with the option of one work-from-home day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Own daily offer campaign programming across all portfolio brands
- Coordinate with merchandising, copywriting, and photography teams on upcoming offers
- Build offers from templates
- Proofread, send tests, make edits from feedback
- Send daily offers via email, SMS, and app push notifications
- Scale the plaintext email programs for WineBid, Wine Scout, and First Bottle Wines, coordinating with private client sales specialists on their desired campaigns
- Implement new tooling from Klaviyo's feature roll-out center
- Perform ongoing A/B tests for both content and campaign structure
- Handle Litmus testing to ensure emails look correct across platforms
- Assist growth team on the creation and management of lifecycle flows and cross-marketing initiatives
- Establish select new email programming (such as AMP)
- Use metrics to strengthen our email programming
- Monitor KPIs including deliverability, open rate, and CTR
- Leverage tagging to analyze by campaign-type
- Maintain health of the domain by monitoring unsubscribe and spam rates
- Leverage predictive analytics such as RFM (recency, frequency, monetary) to bucket customer groups
- Refine audience segmentation by establishing progressive profiling attributes
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an email marketer, including metrics
- Proficiency in drag-n-drop/ WYSIWYG ESP software (Klaviyo, ideally)
- Strong understanding of email metrics
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines for multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is preferred but not required
Compensation
Annualized rate of $65,000-$75,000, paid on a bi-monthly basis. You will be eligible for an annual bonus up to 10% of your base salary in Q1 of the year following the bonus period. Half of the bonus will be based on company EBITDA performance vs. budget and half will be based on personal performance.
