What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Regulatory Associate Attorney position at Lateral Link?
Lateral Link is assisting a prestigious international law firm in an effort to grow its energy regulatory practice. The ideal associate/attorney will have 3-6 years of experience counseling and representing clients in energy transactions and regulatory matters before agencies such as the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT), the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH), Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and/or the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Experience in all of the above is not necessary. This associate can sit in Dallas or Austin.
This is a very collaborative and tight-knit group. The partners genuinely care about their team and prioritize finding a lateral associate who not only has the right experience and background but also is a great cultural fit.
The firm has a great culture and offers an attainable opportunity for partnership.
There are a number of things I love about this firm, but what stands out most about this firm is its commitment to female mentorship and leadership, demonstrated by the significant number of female partners in leadership roles.
The firm is open and happy to consider RELO candidates looking to come to Texas!
Candidates must have an active license to practice law, and a law degree from a top 25 law school with excellent academic credentials is highly preferred. If you meet these qualifications, please submit your resume here or reach out directly: wendyboone@laterallink.com.
