Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree or Certificate in Accounting preferred
- 2 years of experience working in accounting required
- Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, accounting software, and payroll
- Valid Driver’s License

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with HUD, program staff, and client/guardians on filling various HUD requirements
- Process all HUD accounts payable, including bills received and regular payments
- Post and reconcile accounts payable in accounting software
- Follow up on any billing questions with vendors
- Oversee all aspects of the HUD projects (Res Rehab Housing and Eagle Point), including accounts payable, billing, client certifications, and file maintenance
- Monthly reconciliation of HUD bank accounts
- Prepare monthly HUD financials
- Reconcile student accounts to G/L and to program reports, investigating discrepancies monthly
- Review and reconcile monthly donations in G/L and fundraising platform
- Audit adult services client financials monthly
- Assist with budget and audit preparation, providing information as needed
- Assist with other Business Office functions, as needed
- Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance
- Provide support to Latham Business Office staff as directed
