About the Role
The Attorney Recruiting Intern is an integral part of Latham’s Attorney Recruiting team. This role will be responsible for helping with the strategic planning, implementation, and direction of the firmwide law school and associate hiring programs, while supporting the Manager of Attorney Recruitment & Development with all phases of recruiting for new attorneys, lateral hires, and the Summer Associate program. This role will be located in our Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in planning and coordinating the Summer Associate program and social activities
- Maintaining the recruiting database by reviewing applications and processing candidate interactions
- Assisting with all recruitment activity, including organizing interviews and corresponding with incoming candidates and attorney interviewers
- Assisting with the management of work projects for the summer associate programs by working directly with members of the Recruiting Committee; generating specialized recruiting reports and materials
- Processing expenses and reimbursements associated with recruiting efforts

- Demonstrate a courteous, professional, and effective working relationship with clients, vendors, and other representatives of external organizations
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus

- A High School Diploma or equivalent
