About The Role
The Associate Recruiting and Legal Talent Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team and will be responsible for supporting all aspects of entry-level hiring of associates, including the summer program and campus outreach, and serving as a liaison to law schools as well as developing strategies and budgets, while developing relationships with and serving as a firm liaison to law schools, career services colleagues, student organizations, vendors, and other recruitment professionals. This role will be located in our Boston office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

About The Role

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the coordination and execution of attorney development, onboarding, training, and integration efforts
- Coordinating logistics for the summer program, including planning orientation, programming, and events
- Coordinating logistics for entry-level hiring of associates, including scheduling candidate interviews, candidate correspondence, offer letters, outreach, etc.
- Supporting various management committees, including the Training and Career Enhancement, Pro Bono, Mentoring, and Associates Committees
- Assisting with outreach efforts at target law schools
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
- Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services
