BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTIONIST
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support students with IEPs by contributing to plans, monitoring accommodations, facilitating meetings, documenting progress, and designing instruction aligned with intervention goals.
- Coach Dedicated Aides for Tier 3 students and manage the school’s behavior response team.
- Develop and implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), tracking progress through data collection and analysis.
- Lead professional development on behavior intervention strategies and best practices.
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records and foster strong family partnerships through regular communication.
- Support school-wide initiatives, including safety procedures, arrival/dismissal, and family engagement.
- Actively participate in professional development, collaboration, and upholding LAMB’s Montessori and PAZ values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Board Certification of Behavior Analysis (or in progress) or a degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Experience in early childhood, dual-language education, or working with students with exceptionalities.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and use Google Workspace (preferred).
- Meet health requirements (immunizations, TB screening).

Reports to: Manager of Special Education
Schedule: 10-month full-time position, from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm
