AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS STAFF at Latin School of Chicago.
The Latin School seeks to "provide environments for our students that create a life-long love of learning and support them as they pursue their passions." Our after-school enrichment program, Extended Day, is a catalyst in accomplishing this. Our staff in this program believe in this mission and embody the warmth and reliability it requires.
Work as part of an exceptional team to:
- Plan and facilitate afternoon activities that are developmentally appropriate.
- Be responsible for the safety and supervision of a group of children
- Mentor and role model Latin's mission
- Develop positive relationships with the kids and other Extended Day staff members
- Communicate regularly with Extended Day Team Leader
- Take care of housekeeping, including but not limited to, set-up and clean-up of Extended Day classrooms and gyms
- Reports to Assistant Director of Latin 360°
Dates, Hours of Employment, Compensation, and Job Requirements:
- Shifts Monday-Friday from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
- Flexible hours and schedules can be made to accommodate an employee's schedule.
- Compensation: $17.00/hr
Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Experience working with kids ages 3-12
- Able to commit to a set schedule that varies infrequently
- Positive, energetic outlook
- Love working with young children
