Qualifications for the Highly Experienced Labor, Employment, Workplace and Safety Attorney
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Oregon State bar and in good standing Oregon or eligible to license in Oregon. Having Washington and California (with PAGA experience) licenses are a plus.
- Minimum 6 years of labor and employment law, with a focus on complex employment matters including wage and hour disputes, and discrimination or harassment claims.
- Proven track record in managing cases independently from inception to resolution, with robust experience in both contentious and transactional matters.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing employment policies and related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements.
- Experience advising on the labor and employment dimensions of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with the capacity to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make strategic decisions.

- Compensation: The salary range for this role is $230,000 to $290,000 . Pay is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
