We are looking for a highly analytical candidate with good negotiation and organizing skills who can work full-time. As our estate planning attorney, you will draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients and their families. To ensure that an estate's management is handled in accordance with the wishes of the estate owner, this position requires a significant level of responsibility. If this sounds like you, please apply!Responsibilities : Create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for your clientsAttend court proceedings as needed to represent clientsCommunicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assetsAdvise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance optionsWork closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation processConsult with clients on business law, employment law, and estate planning needsResearch and draft memorandums of law for partners on various business law mattersAttend law firm and community networking eventsPresent on Estate Planning topics to community and groupsStrategize with Partner on how to build efficiencies in law firm managementQualifications : Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situationsAt least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on estate planning and probate law issues is necessaryBachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are requiredActive member of the ABA (American Bar Association)Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigationExperience with Clio Manage and Clio Grow, Wealth Counsel, Calendly, and marketingAbout Us : We are a growing law firm based in White Bear Lake and Roseville.
