About Us:
Laub Construction is a small, family-owned construction company in a growth phase, transitioning from residential remodeling to large-scale remodel projects and commercial construction, including tenant finishes and new builds. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to help lead our projects to successful completion.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage our construction projects from start to finish. In the near term, this role will involve some on-site work to ensure quality and efficiency, but as we continue to grow, the position will transition into a full managerial role focused on scheduling, coordinating trades, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform hands-on work as needed during the transition phase.
- Develop project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure that all trades are scheduled effectively.
- Monitor job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Address and resolve any project-related issues that may arise.
- Prepare and present progress reports to company leadership.
- Assist with estimating, material ordering, and procurement as needed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in commercial and residential remodeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing job site logistics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a growing company's needs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
