ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
As our Northwest Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our B2B sales across your designated territory, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, Wyoming.
In this role, you’ll serve as the face of our premium cigars, pipes, and pipe tobacco in the field, representing our organizations values and products to retailers and customers across your territory — leveraging relationships and sales tactics to boost business-to-business sales, promote brand visibility, and establish long-term partnerships with retailers across your territory.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a sales environment, a deep understanding of the cigar and premium tobacco industry, and demonstrated expertise in driving both market expansion and revenue growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing retail accounts across the Northwest, and growing B2B sales across our entire catalog of products using a consultative, category-based approach that focuses on retailer education, brand ambassadorship, and strong customer relationships. Among other tasks, your primary day-to-day responsibilities will include
- Making sales calls and visiting retail partners and shops
- Booking and processing orders
- Coordinating — both operationally and administratively — with our headquarters-based support staff
- Leading in-store merchandising efforts
- Updating our CRM and relevant account files
- Providing education and guidance to store owners and staff through sales events and trunk shows.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sales Experience: Previous sales experience required, preferably in the cigar, tobacco, or related industries.
- Customer Support: Reputation for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing their needs and resolving any concerns.
- Frequent Travel: Willingness to travel 50% - 60% of working hours — must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Organizational Skills: Confidence in organizing and optimizing travel schedules.
- Professional Autonomy: Strong capacity for problem solving and critical thinking. Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Business Relationships: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Northwest Location: Must live within your territory.
COMPENSATION:
The total compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, plus percentage-based commissions on all external sales by Laudisi Distribution Group and bonuses for year-over-year growth.
- Base Salary: $57,000
- Commission: $11,000 - $19,000 per year.
- Growth Bonus*: $0 - $16,000 per year.
- Growth bonuses are tiered based on the growth percentage of year-over-year external sales. Below are estimates of total annual compensation based on various growth tiers during 2025.
- 0% Growth: $68,000
- 20% Growth: $79,000
- 40% Growth: $90,000
