Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the financial and accounting operations at Launch Fulfillment. As the Controller, you will be responsible for managing accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, ensuring that all financial operations align with company objectives and industry regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role that will play a key part in supporting our fast-paced and growing logistics and warehousing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Ensure the integrity of financial records, internal controls, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to create budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that support business growth.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Lead the accounting team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and manage tax compliance processes.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting tools, optimizing efficiency in alignment with business objectives.
• Support operational teams to streamline logistics-related financial processes, ensuring profitability and cost control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain industries is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (experience with ERP systems preferred).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
