Position Profile
The Bartender is responsible for providing amazing customer service to its patrons. The Bartender should be able to interact, assess bar customers' needs, preferences and make recommendations. The bartender should possess leadership skills, motivations, and sound decision making tactics.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Influences other team members through motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure exemplary customer satisfaction and maximum staff productivity.
- Promotes an environment of open communication attending daily huddles and monthly staff meetings as a pathway to discussing issues, developing improvement plans and highlighting the positive achievements as a whole and individual staff members.

Guest Service - Maintain Excellent Customer Relations
- Deliver the highest standard of customer service keeping in line with brand & operational standards.
- Continually develops & implements ideas to positively guest experience & park operations.
- Resolving customer complaints in an efficient & timely manner ensuring the customer walks away with a positive outlook on the situation.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Operational Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, takes orders and serve
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Master Point of Sale System
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed properly
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the facility's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in working condition through inspection and by the following the facility's preventative maintenance programs.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements or the facility, employees and guest.
- Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Ensure weekly inventory procedures are followed and documented.
- Ensure that all technology within the facility is functioning properly and displaying context in line with brand standards.
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience as a bartender in a Guest-facing environment is required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to motivate teammates and drive culture to create results
- Previous cash-handling experience is required
- Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment
- Safe Serve certificate plus, must be willing to certify
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Be able to frequently move up to 100 pounds
