Job Description
At Launch Kit, Social Media Managers work closely with two Creators to manage clients' social media accounts. The Creator is responsible for videography and photography, while the Social Media Manager handles caption writing, client communication, content posting, and analytics reporting. Together, Creators and Social Media Managers develop client account strategies and content ideas.
Each Creator works with about six clients, and each Social Media Manager collaborates with two Creators, managing approximately 12 clients in total. Our target market consists of small, local businesses in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that are passionate about sharing their story.
Responsibilities
Set up clients' social media accounts.Collaborate with Creators (videographer / photographer) to generate content ideas for clients.Assist Creators during content production days by shooting photos on a mirrorless camera, directing clients, and maintaining organization.Capture behind-the-scenes iPhone footage during production days.Research social media trends and industry developments.Write captions for social media posts.Publish social media posts.Manage inboxes for client accounts.Report social media analytics during monthly pulse meetings with clients.Ideal Attributes For Success

Hybrid work model - Team members are welcome to work from home or in the Launch Kit office.The team typically works in the Launch Kit office or the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.The team typically works remotely on Tuesday and Thursday.Meetings are reserved for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with Tuesdays and Thursdays set aside for uninterrupted work.Launch Kit operates Monday - Friday from 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm.Launch Kit uses Mac and Canon products.Project management and client communication are managed through ClickUp.Web traffic reporting is conducted via Google Analytics.Reporting is done using Google Sheets.Calendars are managed with Google Calendar.Internal communication is facilitated through Google Chat.Time tracking is managed with Timely.All software is provided by Launch Kit.Future Opportunities
