hub for the city’s small business ecosystem. Our mission is to support entrepreneurs at all stages by
providing resources, guidance, mentorship, and a community network. Launch SA’s primary location
is in the Central Library in downtown San Antonio.

is the central place where entrepreneurs can cultivate, shape, and scale new ideas into successful
businesses primed for the next level of growth. We are a small team making a significant impact, and
we are looking to expand our team with a Community Coordinator for Launch SA.
Position Summary :
The Launch SA Community Coordinator is the first point of contact for entrepreneurs and
business owners at Launch SA, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience while
managing space operations, events logistics, business support, and data tracking. This role
collaborates closely with the broader Launch SA team, including the Partnership Manager (who
oversees external programming partnerships), the Business Advisor (who provides deeper
advising and leads targeted programming), and the Marketing & Events Coordinator (who
focuses on storytelling and promotional efforts). The Community Coordinator plays a key role in
ensuring smooth daily operations, facilitating connections for entrepreneurs, and supporting the
execution of events and programming. This is an in-person role based at the Central Library in
downtown San Antonio, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Service - The First Point of Contact
- Serve as the first point of contact at Launch SA, maintaining an active and welcoming presence at the front desk during all open hours.
- Greet visitors, answer questions, and ensure a positive first impression for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
- Respond to inquiries in person, via phone, and email, ensuring a timely and professional response.
- Communicate Launch SA’s offerings clearly, directing entrepreneurs to relevant resources, programs, and team members.
- Serve as the first point of contact at Launch SA, maintaining an active and welcoming presence at the front desk during all open hours.
- Greet visitors, answer questions, and ensure a positive first impression for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

- Communicate Launch SA’s offerings clearly, directing entrepreneurs to relevant resources, programs, and team members.
- Ensure the Launch SA space remains clean, professional, and fully functional throughout the day.
- Assist guests with conference room & activity spaces reservations
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring the space is safe and welcoming for visitors.
- Monitor and restock supplies, materials, and workspace essentials to maintain a productive and inviting environment.
- Track and log visitor interactions, inquiries, and business support requests to improve service offerings.
- Maintain records of event attendance, space utilization, and client engagement trends, providing insights to the Partnership Manager and Business Advisor.
- Assist in compiling reports that analyze common business challenges, program effectiveness, and resource utilization.
- 1-2 years of experience in coordinating operations, community engagement, or customer-facing roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent Launch SA professionally at events and within the community.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve and think proactively in a fast-paced, community-driven environment.
- Passion for supporting small business owners.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Experience in data tracking and reporting preferred.
