What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator position at Launch Tech USA?
LaunchTech is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to support our State Government customer in the Jersey City and NYC metro areas. This role requires frequent travel to various sites to manage and maintain networking systems. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and exceptional communication skills.
Please note that US Citizenship is required for this role. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate work authorizations or permanent residence status for this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches , ensuring optimal network performance.
- Perform technical troubleshooting of network issues to maintain system uptime.
- Administer and optimize SolarWinds network monitoring tools.
- Manage and support LAN, WAN, and WLAN network infrastructure, incorporating basic design concepts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, TCP / IP, HTTP / S, SSH , and more.
- Ensure proper operation of DNS, DHCP, and other critical network services .
- Collaborate with the team to design, document, and implement network changes and upgrades.
- Administer Cisco Catalyst Center / DNA Center for network automation and optimization.
