Job Title: Buyer

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience in procurement, specifically with a strong understanding of outside finish processes. As a Buyer, you will work closely with various teams such as logistics, planning, engineering, order management, and purchasing to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the purchasing process for materials, products, and services, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of products in line with project deadlines.
- Analyze and evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with an emphasis on Excel, to track and manage procurement data.
- Coordinate with the engineering, logistics, and planning teams to ensure smooth and efficient procurement workflows.
- Drive resolution of procurement issues by collaborating with relevant teams, ensuring professional and compliant issue closure.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting department standards and timelines.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and apply strong time management skills to meet goals and deadlines.
- Ensure continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Minimum Requirements for Consideration:
- 2-3 years of buyer experience, preferably in aerospace.
- Knowledge of outside finish processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once.
- Demonstrated ability to drive issues to resolution and meet professional standards.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with various departments, including logistics, planning, engineering, and purchasing teams.
- Ability to meet or exceed established departmental standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace industry experience.
Compensation:
The hourly pay range for this role is $35 - $40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
