CNC Operator/Machinist

We are looking for experienced CNC Lathe, Mill or Router Operators for manufacturers in the Tualatin area. You will be joining a leading producer of semiconductor, medical and aviation parts it a cutting-edge work environment. Shifts available:

• First: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
• Second: Monday-Thursday 2:15pm-12:45pm
• Third: Fri, Sat, Sun 5:00am-5:30pm

What you'll do:

• Read and interpret blue prints and traveler to determine production needs with regard to material type, thickness, length, width and quantity. Ensure that blue prints and traveler instructions are consistent to one another.
• Operate CNC equipment with efficiency and safety
• Maintain low levels of scrap and avoid errors and the need for corrective actions
• Change tools, do setups, touch off tools, offsets
• Run or learn to run multiple machines on different cycles
• Other duties as assigned.

What you need:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of CNC router, mill or lathe experience
• Understanding of G and M codes
• Understanding of GD&T and tight tolerances (thousandths)
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to read and use measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, machinist scales and tape measures.
• Ability to work quickly and safely, with a high degree of accuracy.

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
