Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive project scope, objectives, and deliverables for strategic acquisitions, ensuring each initiative aligns with our broader business goals.
- Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to seamlessly execute strategies and integrate new businesses.
- Maintain transparent communication by delivering clear updates on project status, expectations, and challenges to your team and stakeholders.
- Juggle multiple concurrent projects, expertly managing milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
- Adapt swiftly to shifting priorities— recalibrating project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Nurture and sustain strong internal and external acquisition relationships.
- Track development threads and coordinate diverse deliverables to keep projects on target.
- Partner with the SVP of M&A to scout, evaluate, and acquire promising home inspection businesses.
- Oversee acquisition timelines, from legal and financial processes to marketing, HR, and operations.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize acquisition agreements that pave the way for success.
Post-Acquisition Integration:
- Craft and Execute Transition Plans: Design and implement comprehensive strategies to integrate new acquisitions smoothly.
- Manage End-to-End Integration: Oversee the successful transfer of all post-acquisition activities, ensuring operational systems, branding, technology, and teams merge seamlessly.
- Drive Performance: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge acquisition success and continually optimize performance.
- Foster a Unified Culture: Collaborate with HR to streamline onboarding processes and align cultural values across acquired teams, ensuring every new member feels at home.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Operations, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, project management, business development, or operations.
- Background in the home inspection, real estate, home services, or construction industries is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, due diligence, and business valuation.
- Experience in integrating newly acquired businesses and managing operational change.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, project management tools, and financial modeling software.
