Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, dedicated, detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our team. We are customer-centric and our goal is to improve the laundry experience for our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service. The main responsibilities of this position include greeting customers, helping customers, problem solving and light cleaning.
Some tasks require being low to the ground or high up and could require a good level of physical fitness. Candidate must be able to lift heavy trash bags and be able to stand for long periods of time. Candidate must enjoy working with people and working as a team with the other employees at the Laundromat.
Responsibilities:
-Greeting customers
-Helping customers use the machines
- Dusting, Sanitizing, Wiping, Polishing the faces all of the Machines
- Cleaning and Sanitizing the Bathrooms (potentially bodily fluids)
- Cleaning the Dryer Lint traps, waist height and low to the ground
- Taking out the trash
- Sweeping and Mopping the floor
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer service
- Attention to details and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with other team members
- Ability to use a App on your phone for clocking in and out
-Must be 18 years of age
- Must have childcare and/or petcare - no children or pets allowed while working. No spouses or significant others present while working.
-Must have bank account to receive paycheck via ACH (checking account deposit).
-This job requires a uniform, given to you by the laundromat.
Schedule:
- This position is on the weekends, with the possibility of weekday shifts to cover for our current cleaners that need help, are sick or on vacation.
-Shift time is every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Both days are required every weekend. The Laundromat is open every day, even holidays!
-We also offer a $25 service fee call (plus your hourly rate) for any cleaning emergencies that may pop up.
