What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Developer/Inside Sales position at Laurel Awning Company?
Opening for a busy, fast growing Pittsburgh Area Industrial Fabric Product Company that has been in business since 1913. To start immediately
- Minimal construction experience and mathematical skills required
- Must have previous inside sales experience
- This is not a remote job, must report to the office daily
- Awning knowledge is a great plus! Individual must have excellent work ethic and be self-motivated. Must be able to work alone as well as with the team
- Must be detail oriented and very organized
- Must be willing to meet with customers in person as needed
- Duties included but are not limited to: Researching and identifying potential customers, setting appointments for salesmen, receiving and processing orders for existing customers, communicate errors and/or missing info on orders, quality control, and submitting confirmations.
- Strong business skills with excellent communication skills (verbal and written). This position includes communicating with customers as well as inter-company personnel
- Must work well with production team on delivery dates and deadlines
- Extraordinary organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Full training will be provided
- Minimum high school diploma
- Salary plus commission
